Force of change

This image is of a Horsechestnut tree and its roots system. The water below has eroded into the river bank but this wasn't always the case. Recent floods over the past winter had changed the normal flow and allowed it to cut underneath the mighty tree.

The Common Frog

The name may suggest they're common in Ireland but the naming of species happened a long time ago. Poor water quality and loss of habitat are their two biggest enemies today.
