Hoverfly feeding

Misumena vatia feeding on some sweet nectar

Orange Tip Butterfly

The Orange Tip usually can detect if eggs have allready been layed on the flower head of the Cuckoo flower, but here we can see many eggs. Perhaps the crab spider is able to mask the scent of the eggs so it would be able to feed on them later...

Orange Tip Butterfly and egg

White Crab Spider (Misumena vatia) with Hoverfly (Rhingia rostrata)

This little spider packs powerful venom as it can take down prey much larger than itself, even Butterflies. Its victim here is a Hoverfly (Rhingia rostrata).

Fly

I'm coming...

Bees are truly amazing creatures. The extra weight its carrying here makes it unstable in flight to say the least, but it still adds more.

These Butterflies were mating for at least 10-15 mins. They would sometimes fly from place to place during the whole embrace.
